I am curious about the statement from Hitchens under Outgrown Such Silly Supersitions. The text claims that Hitchens called Juche and the Cult of Personality surrounding the Kims a quasi-state religion. While there is a grain of truth to it, when and where did Hitchens say that? If there is no proof, it looks like an assumption that while plausible is unverifiable with Hitchen's death.

I added a caption (after much editing woes) under the pic. I think it fits nicely, and I hope everyone approves.
Hitchens and religion again
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQyvPANfCxM see this video (among many others) where he many convincingly makes the case just how totalitarianism is a "political religion" (Which by the way is a common area of research within political science). Please don't make a strawman out of his views and present just how and why he found Stalin, Mao, Juche and all the others to be similar to religion or indeed religions by themselves...
