I think that the Donkey Kong games deserve a place on this page given the contrasting sequel antagonists shown in the console games; King K. Rool and the Kremling Krew in "64", Tiki Tong and the Tiki Tak Tribe in "Returns", and Lord Fredrik and the Snowmads in "Tropical Freeze". I could really use help describing how each of these antagonistic groups contrast one another.
