Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work directly states that we are only troping things that purport to represent the work itself (their emphasis), and troping advertising solely as advertising.
Press releases are specifically counted as advertising, and we cannot take press releases (or associated Word of God statements from creators) as sole source for a pre-release trope example.
If this reduces the page to a stub and we can't find more examples within a few days, it may be submitted to the cutlist.
