So just to get this started, how are people finding this event?

Cuz personally, I was thinking it was starting slow, but I feel it's starting to pick up. Although looking at scans_daily, you'd think it was created by Satan. But then again, nearly everyone who posts at scans_daily are the kind of people who give comic book readers a bad name.

I think the initial issues were created by Satan. (And hey- I post to Scans Daily!) It's gotten better. Still can't wait for it to be over- pointless deaths and gore is not my thing.

I'll admit, the whole of Flashpoint is greater than it's individual parts. Especially with the early issues of the main book. The deaths, I can accept, since it's an interesting part of these Alternate Timeline stories that aren't burdened with a status quo that the characters are normally saddled with.

If you're curious as to why I bashed scans_daily, I left that particular community just before Brightest Day started because I couldn't stand the very unpleasant people, but when I came back to see (like a scmuck) how people were reacting to Scott Snyder's Detective Comics run. I don't know how, but somehow the whole place was worse than I remembered. There were a few "big names" there who posted with such vileness & bitterness, it felt like I was getting exposed to hate radiation.
