I feel like this needs some pruning. Some of this is less Chekhovs Gun and more plain old continuity.

This needs a LOT of pruning. A lot of this crap is simply "this thing appears for the first time, and then continues to appear more times in the same book".

Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised.
