Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:

  • Instant Awesome Just Add Dragons: One of his Link Monsters is "Firewall Dragon", but it is a Cyberse-Type instead of Dragon-Type. He also has several other dragon-like monsters which include Cyberse Clock Dragon, Cyberse Quantum Dragon, and Firewall Xceed Dragon.

Lucky-Seven-Leaf-Clover, removing the Faux Action Girl entries from both Aoi and Emma's entries, while providing no reason, and then editing the Yu-Gi-Oh entry on Faux Action Girl, but not removing Emma or Aoi, while providing ZERO reason for why you are doing so is clearly wrong.

Everyone in the fandom acknowledges they are Faux Action Girls, and they fit the bill to a T - if you are going to remove the trope, say why.

First off, I only edited the Yu-Gi-Oh section because A, most of what was written there was opinionated, and B, most of the characters were labeled as a faux action girl for arbitrary and ridiculous reasons, like Alexis not having enough “major” wins, despite her having one of the best records among the female characters, or Akiza simply because she wasn’t angsting over her powers in the second season.

Secondly, I removed Aoi from the section because out of the nine onscreen duels she took part in, she won four and lost five, meaning she really didn’t qualify as a faux action girl. As for Emma, I left her there more as an example for how the series tends to treat most of the female cast. In spite of that though, Emma’s clever strategies still make her a force to be reckoned with, such as how she kept Yusaku from using his skill through most of their duel. However, because of how well her deck has done meta wise, most of Emma’s duels are limited towards characters with plot armor, with the only exceptions being Naoki and Kengo.

Not everyone in the fandom acknowledges them as faux action girls, otherwise someone would have added it back in during the three months before you did. Like I said before, Aoi had won almost half of the duels she took part in. While Emma only has one win, she more than makes up for her record by ensuring that no matter the outcome, she still gets what she wants in the end throughout most of her duels.

Calling Aoi’s wins against characters you would consider “minor” or how you might see Emma as an incompetent duelist for only having one win doesn’t make either of them a faux action girl. By that logic, the same would apply to characters like Spectre, who’s only had what you would consider one “major” win, and Kengo, who’s record is more or less the same as Emma’s, with the addition of an incomplete.

Honestly, you seem to be the only one who’s bothered by this, as I had removed that trope from Emma’s bio almost three months before you put it back (incidentally, I had forgotten that trope was also in Aoi’s bio too). Surely several fans must have noticed that, but if they didn’t try to revert it back then they just have been either fine with it or didn’t care either way.

So I know that Aoi is now on Playmaker's side, but I believe that until she knows who he is in real life, it would be a stretch to call her a "confidant".
