Nice Guy: If you ignore his twisted philosophy, Hikki is actually a really nice guy. He simply has no love for himself and thinks that, by not involving himself in other people's lives, he is doing the nicest thing possible for them.
While I agree that, yes, Hachiman is a pretty decent guy.
Deep down.
But on top of that, he's snarky, cynical, and all around antisocial. Wouldn't that make him count for something like a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, or even a Hidden Heart of Gold? Because I think calling him an outright Nice Guy is ignoring how he generally acts around people.
