It's been a while since I watched the season finale, but I do believe that he is referred to as Green Goblin at least once in either "Revealed" and/or "Rise of the Goblin".
Memory's rusty, but if I recall correctly, it isn't until "Carnage" that they just refer to him as Goblin.
Just rewatched the season one finale. Spidey does call Norman Green Goblin several times in "Revealed" but the rest of time, he's just referred to as either Goblin or The Goblin.
Venom Bomb also introduces him as "The Goblin" in big green text in Spidey's opening summation. It seems that's his official designation, and I'm supposing the times people call him "green" Goblin comes about mostly because people are simply being specific about his appearance.
I do want to note though, that the promotional materials do still call him Green Goblin. The episode summaries on iTunes call him Green Goblin instead of the Goblin.
Spider-Man refers to him in a later episode as "Norman Osborne, otherwise known as 'The Goblin'!", so I think his moniker is officially The Goblin In-Universe. I'm going to go ahead and change his profile to that.
Time to choose pics! Since both Venom and Steel Spider don't have pics up, I went ahead and snapped some shots. (Please note that said pics are unedited, as in they haven't been cropped or resized.)
Also, I don't particularly care for the current Carnage pic we have right now, so I took some shots of him too. These aren't resized but they are cropped.
Since I'm lazy, here's a link to my album: Spidey shots.

If anyone wants to change my pics or captions to something better, go ahead.
Stupid question: is Norman Osborn a sociopath? He does seem to fit the trope, with the only issue I can think is the fact that he cares about his son Harry. That, however, ends up going out the window when he becomes Green Goblin.
Also, is Harry being Venom really a spoiler? I ask because every other appearance of the symbiote, except for its first appearance has Harry being Venom. Not only that, but the plot of one of the online Spidey games on Disney XD's website is basically: Oh noes, Harry's become Venom again. Go save him, Spidey!
Also, Dr. Connors being Lizard isn't considered one, despite the fact that he doesn't become Lizard until episode one of Season Two, so we need to come to some sort of consensus on this.
Edited by 216.99.32.44 Hide / Show RepliesI would not consider Harry becoming Venom to be a spoiler since it happens so early and forms a basis of many later episodes, and I'd support any efforts to make it so.
Yeah, I don't think Curt being the Lizard is a spoiler either — it's been awhile since that episode was released, and it was inevitable from comics canon anyway.
Okay then, I think I'll later on go ahead and despoiler everything pertaining to Harry and Venom. I'll be sure to make a note as to why though when I do.
Consider in adding the frightful four in the characters page.
Not all dreams are meant to come true, otherwise there would be a lot of dead people.Okay, I don't know who's doing the the captions on some of these images, but they are really really lame. I don't want to take them down without some sort of consensus, but captions need to be more than just pithy one-liners. At least aim for wittiness, if not helpful information.
Hide / Show RepliesUnless there is a specific Image Pickin' tag, changing captions is fine. You may want to make a note of the old ones on here, but it's not compulsary.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
After watching "Carnage", I've noticed that Norman Osborne is only ever referred to as "The Goblin", and not "The Green Goblin". One of Spidey's little imagining things explicitly labels him as such with text. Can I get a consensus based on other episodes as to whether this should be considered his actual moniker?
