I experimented with it for a bit, and apparently, images that use quoteleft instead of quoteright automatically have the border around them for some reason.
I found this to be really useful in formatting pages with multiple images because, for whatever reason, the border seems to prevent the images from overlapping other page elements, pushing said elements down instead.
When push comes to shove, you gotta do what you love, even if it's not a good idea.

Might be worth putting up a fix in the Wiki Tech Wish List, then.

Can anyone explain to me why the images on this particular page have black line borders around them? They aren't part of the images themselves, and I can't see anything in the coding that would cause it, and none of the other character pages seem to have it.
I'm not against it, I'm just curious as to why it's happening.
