Why is it a discussion if you present a different view of a character who isn't as widely hated as this site is making it out to be? I'm not hating on the character, or trying to rescue him from public eye, or anything of the sort. I'm simply trying to add in the fact that other people don't hate the character as much as it has been suggested.

The general consensus is that the character is typically disliked. It really goes without saying that for tropes like these that peoples opinions will vary from person to person. YMMV really doesn't need to be said because it's pretty much implied that it's not what EVERYONE thinks...

Besides. Most of what you wrote up was just Natter

You may be right, but then you have to take into consideration that most people will take what they read at face value, and will in fact believe that the character is hated by everyone. They don't tend to actually consider what they read may or may not be subjective, and will therefore think exactly that without actually watching anything with the character. You can't just leave it at implied because of that fact.

And even if what I said was in fact Natter, then YMMV should still be there, just without any examples. Simply because most people wouldn't think exactly as you or I do.

I'm thinking. I honestly think there should be a split in the character page. It's pretty big and there's a lot of characters that fir many more tropes. I'm not saying we basically become another Bulbapedia, but the anime regardless of it being aimed at the younger audience is pretty complex characterwise.

What's to further split? I recently re-categorized everyone according to the order they appeared in based on the regions that Ash traveled in. I started with Kanto and worked down.

Create different articles. One for protagonists, others for antagonists, rivals, etc. I just feel that the anime is too elaborate and the articles here don't quite achieve what really is. Like it's basically incomplete, but the character page is also getting pretty big.

If you think the Pokemon anime character page is big, you should check out Bleach's character page in comparison. I don't really think it needs to be split up any further. If you want to add more in, then just keep them to the region that they first, or mainly showed up in.
