Is there any truth to the rumour that Tyranitar is based on Bemular from Ultraman?
Regarding repeated theories and fanon to the contrary I've seen about Corsola and the origins of Galarian Corsola and Cursola, to my knowledge there is no in-game lore like this. They may be a reference to modern climate change, but it's an indirect reference at most (heck, there are deep sea corals in Britain that are white, meaning Galarian Corsola is more than just bleached coral). Corsola are not described as endangered, and Mareanie are not invasive (and don't even kill Corsola, just breaking off their regenerative branches). Cursola arose in ancient times, and humans had nothing to do with it (the climate change was caused by a meteor).
