Hello,

I saw that DATEMAY added back the Emote-kuns on the character page, albeit all under a single folder instead of a folder for each of them.

While it's better, I don't think the emote-kuns deserve an entry in the character page:

They are not really characters per see. They are visual gags with no agency on their own.
The new folder for them only list two tropes, which are valid, but may as well just be listed on the main page instead of here.
We have entered the Edit War territory, since with DATEMAY's edit we reached the "third edit" threshold. UPDATE: DATEMAY created the "Control" entry in the emote-kuns back in the days, but was not the one who added nearly all of them: it was 88y53. He is technically a third party, and thus did not engage in edit warring. My sincere apologies.

I made a topic back earlier this years in Ask The Tropers (here), and people were in agreement for the removal (granted, only 3 other tropers participated).

I will send a message to DATEMAY to invite him to discuss this over here.

As I mentioned in my post, I think it's better to remove the emote-kuns folder and just move the tropes to the main page, if you agree with it.

Hmmm. It's been a whole month. I don't want to be pushy and send new private messages, but if DATEMAY doesn't answer I may have to re-open my old query to bring attention to this and let someone else handle it. I would engage in an Edit War if I were to touch these entries, so my hands are tied.
