Agreed, I was surprised to notice they'd been added. I assume the logic is that because they mentioned G-type SOLDIE Rs and Kunsel and some other stuff, CC is canon to the Remake trilogy, but even if so, as you say those characters haven't been introduced directly. Otherwise by the same logic, the Before Crisis characters should be added because the original incarnation of Avalanche has also been mentioned to exist.
I imagine they got added because of the Crisis Core Reunion re-release.
I understand the logic, but Hamaguchi said that Crisis Core is not part of the canon timeline for the Remake trilogy in his interview.
Again, unless characters from Crisis Core are properly introduced into the Remake trilogy, as was the case with Cissnei, I believe we should exclude character folders that for now belong to a game that is a direct prequel to the original FFVII and not the Remake trilogy.
Completely agree with this move - there is no need to add them in the Remake pages as well, since their portrayals are exactly the same as in the original Crisis Core.
I don't believe so. She is in Reunion, which uses all of the same updated models from remake, and won't be surprised to see her in Rebirth, but that does beg the question on if we should count the events of Reunion toward this page.
Not yet. That trope is tied to a fall caused by the character's Hubris, and we still don't know how his fate will pan out in the remake timeline.
I hope in the remake he has a Fate Worse than Death just like he did is Dirge of Cerberus.
Since Crisis Core isn't technically canon with the entire Remake series, with Hamaguchi saying that "the remake itself is a unique world distinct from the other games" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq4XNbH6mtk&t=), characters who only appeared in Crisis Core and did not make any appearance in the Remake games should be removed until they are properly introduced, as was the case with Cissnei.
Therefore, I suggest the following:
1. - That the following characters' folders be removed: "Lazard Deusericus", "Genesis Rhapsodos", "Angeal Hewley" and "Hollander", as they have not been introduced in Remake and Rebirth in any form to date;
2. Edit the folders of characters mentioned in the Remake/Rebirth, removing tropes that are restricted to their versions of them in Crisis Core until they are confirmed to also be applicable to their versions in the Remake/Rebirth timeline, such as "Professor Gast" and "Kunsel".
