A rare instance where the person bullying the dragon should really know far better, in The Mighty Thor. Just after Thor's rebirth from Ragnarok, Iron Man in full Inspector Jarvert Mode comes along and tells Thor "do as the US government says or we'll attack you". Thor is very quiet as Tony threatens Asgard, and then lets Tony know how he feels about this by blasting the ever-loving crap out of Tony, and disabling his cutting edge armor, with Tony unable to so much as scratch him.
Thor: Give your orders and your ultimatums to those too cowardly or foolish to disobey, or learn the difference between a god... and a man in a suit of armor.
Cut this because it's more Underestimating Badassery than this trope: Tony was wearing the Hulkbuster armor, which should have made him a match for Thor. What Tony didn't know was that Thor was holding the Odinforce along with his own power, which put him FAAAAR out of Tony's league. Which Thor proceeded to demonstrate. Not that Thor couldn't have ultimately wrecked Tony anyway, but the Odinforce made it far easier.
ETA: Also, "knowing better" isn't rare for this trope. It's the core of it, actually.
