Suggesting to divide examples into their respective games, given all the games have their own page now.
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Hide / Show RepliesAt this rate, I will end up with a split where everyone will accuse me of making an unilateral change when nobody else gives their input even long after the start of discussion.
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainWell, are the current subpages starting to spark "This page is too long" warnings? If so, splitting them into the individual games makes logical sense. If not, for now, it might make more sense to have the pages for individual games be redirects to the existing pages, so that they're waiting in the wings for whenever the existing pages do set off the "Too long!" alarm.
One year later, I'm still under the impression that the current page split is completely uneven. Seriously, only 5 folders for Early Windows Era versus 17 and more coming for Modern Windows Era? No thanks, I'll get started on turning each folder into their own subpage where applicable (as in, if the appropriate folder has a page for its respective game).
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom PainA lot of the youtube videos for these have been taken down. What should we do about this? I was thinking we could comment out the entries until a replacement video is found, but it would take a long time to go through all of them to see if they still work.
Hide / Show RepliesA good start might actually be getting rid of the defunct links but otherwise leaving the examples as they are. If doing so reduces an example to a Zero-Context Example that simply names a track and doesn't explain what's awesome about it, comment it out as well. (The frequent shutdowns of videos or even whole accounts are a large part of why there is a policy that Weblinks Are Not Examples.)
How/where are we supposed to put entire playlists of songs by a same artist? The House Sets for each and every game come to mind...
"They played us like a DAMN FIDDLE!" — Kazuhira Miller, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Hide / Show RepliesWell, do all the songs in your opinion qualify as Awesome Music?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman'Simply Googling "crowning music of awesome"' -> will show this page because of there is literal 'crowning music of awesome' text in it.
It's nice to see the subsection I carved out of CrowningMusic/Videogames has grown so much. First, it got big enough to be sorted. Then, it got folderized, and then it got split because it simply too big. Now, it's even survived moving over to Awesome Music! Wiki Magic is truly powerful.

Should we split Modern Windows into three? I see the Moriya Shrine Conspiracy (10-13.5) and the Urban Legend Incident (14-16.5) as separate, plus 17, 17.5 and 18 in their own page.
