The Superheavy Samurai cards appear to have been added under the justification of "you have to have an all-monster deck" and "if an opponent uses a Spell or Trap Card to force your monsters into attack mode, you're screwed". Only problem is, several of the Superheavy Samurai cards take care of that such as this: Opponent: "I activate Block Attack to force all of your monsters into Attack Mode!" Player: "I activate the effect of Superheavy Samurai Ninja Sarutobi which allows me to destroy Block Attack!"

The main point is that Superheavy Samurai need to be played pure in order to function, so even if you do have an out to these cards (Superheavy Samurai Ninja Sarutobi would not be an out to Block Attack because it doesn't negate the effect) you can have, at most, 3 copies of that cards in you deck, which often isn't enough.

Also, Block Attack changes Attack Position monsters to Defense Position. You're probably thinking of Stop Defense for that example.
