As several posters have pointed out, no one should be adding spoilers for episodes that haven't been officially released yet. It doesn't matter if the episode is available online through non-official sources, we need to wait until it's out officially. I wasn't expecting "Long Live the Queen" to air until tomorrow and nearly spoiled myself just reading the Awesome page history. Be considerate please. If I spoil myself on something already aired, that's on me. But if I get spoiled on something I wasn't even aware was available — because we do in fact usually wait for the actual episode to air officially, that's on you who edited it in. Do not assume that everyone pirates, please.
Hide / Show RepliesI concur. Also, adding material based upon pirated works seems fairly problematic in and of itself.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanShould this be in the Awesome page or not?
- Speaking of the Korramobile, Korra has an offscreen Awesome by Analysis moment. Sure, she crashed into the pole, but she still managed to drive the car for a reasonable distance without any knowledge of driving other than having watched Asami those few times they drove together.
Bolin: "All things considered, you did a great job!"

What's "awesome" about displaying less-than-adequate driving ability? How is it an accomplishment? How is it something that makes us sit back and say, "Wow, that's amazing!"? How is it anything other than a five-second joke about how she can't drive well?
It isn't. The pages are cheapened by this kind of, 'Literally every single thing that the characters do or mention is awesome' bullcrap. I've half a mind to go through and remove a lot of other stuff from this page too.
If the main compliment you can say about a scene is, "Hey, she didn't get herself crippled or killed through complete ineptitude!" then it isn't awesome.
Edited by MrDeathKeep in mind that the car was first drove far away from the parking space. She could have crashed it at another place much farther from the port, that is near Air Temple Island. And keep in mind the Awesome page is a YMMV page.
I originally posted it... I did think it was awesome, but I acknowledge that it's perhaps not really an "awesome moment". So, I'm perfectly fine with it staying deleted.
"She crashed here instead of there" isn't an awesome moment.
How is this a major accomplishment?
How is this something that makes us say, "Wow, that character is really good!"?
How is this something that shows the progress of the character to new heights?
How is it important in the least?
How is this anything except a one-off joke?
Please, try to make some argument that might, just might, satisfy any of those questions before you put it back up. I'll wait.
Again: There is already plenty of "OOOH DID YOU SEE THAT MINOR THING A CHARACTER DID!? IT'S AWESOME!" crap on this page. This is just probably the worst of it.
Every minor, utterly insignificant thing that a character does and then is forgotten ten seconds later is not a CMOA.
Or should I list how Korra managed to not suffocate herself when trying the make-up? Or Bolin managing to get to the edge of the arena before he threw up? Meelo's farting on everyone's hand was clearly an awesome display of his bending ability, so should I put that up?
The first time I tried to cook stir fry (after only watching some hibachi chefs), I set off the fire alarms with the steam—but since the food came out edible and I ended up not actually burning the house down, was that an Awesomeness by Analysis CMOA for me?
No. And neither is this.
Edited by MrDeathI agree with Mr Death, and I'll just add that being a YMMV page doesn't mean it has a "anything goes, no standard needed" license.
I've removed this twice:
Jinora's age is never stated within the series, and Wordof God on the DVD/Bluray commentaries say she is 13 in book three. I don't understand where the idea of her being ten in book one came from.
