So I don't think this example is actually an example of an Author's Saving Throw:

Also in said finale is Cozy Glow's defeat where she rebukes the idea of reforming or accepting friendship, and is soundly dumped in Tartarus by the princesses without so much as a second thought. This feels like it was done for the side of Starlight Glimmer's Broken Base that feels she got off scot-free because of her weak Freudian Excuse that got her a free pass: Cozy was similarly villainous but instead had no excuse, no remorse, and didn't get an ounce of pity for her horrid actions.

I mean, I think it's good for the show to acknowledge that some people are irredeemable, but Cozy Glow's incarceration in Tatarus was highly controversial. I wouldn't be surprised if this became a Broken Base six months from now. Also, this was put on the School Raze part 2 YMMV page but it was deleted for similar reasons that I'm giving. I think we should get rid of it. Anybody else agree?

Done. The Throw to fix the excess redemption started in Season 6 prior to this anyway.

Author's Saving Throw must be widely seen as successful as YMMV can't be played with and there are as many controversial redemptions that season so not a fix.
