I watched this movie countless times growing up and I'm FAIRLY certain the cat's name is Jemmy, not Jenny. It's a bit hard to understand at first but you can tell the difference if you pay close attention.
On another note, would the Sea Witch be considered a Large Ham? Or is she just... really loud?
Edited by 69.172.221.2 Hide / Show RepliesI'm positive it is Jemmy, I'll correct them. The original audio is crystal clear in Japanese and there's no doubt they're saying Jemmy, and multiple sources credit her as Jemmy, such as Wikipedia. When I grew up watching it, I thought it was Jenny, though! English dub has poor audio.
I think you're right, the Sea Witch is very hammy. She's not only very loud, she loves to cackle and she gestures enormously at every opportunity, she's the very definition of ham.

I added information regarding where to purchase the master copy of this film on the front page, which up until now has been unavailable to Westerners. Because of its rarity, and the cult fanbase, I felt it was a nice addition for those who have been seeking out this obscure anime. If I have done wrong in some way, I am sorry. As a fan of the movie myself, I wanted to point fans in the right direction.
