I think this page needs more trope entries relating to Aoba's initial encounter with Hina in the beginning, mecha chase scene and all, but I can only think of a couple that might apply at the moment:

It Began with a Twist of Fate (Maaay-be…?)
One or more Chase Scene tropes.

I'm not always good at writing summarizing descriptions, though, and don't know if I would be here. Plus, I haven't watched the series in a while…

Am I the only one who thinks that the homoerotic subtext is Sunris's way of making an anime that would otherwise exclusively appeal to guys also appeal to girls?
