New member here. I don't want to edit the page just yet, nor do I know where this information on the anime 'Belle' (竜とそばかすの姫) should go. So I'll put it here and hope somebody sees it and can tell me where it should go and how to get it there.
The movie's editing makes the events feel like they're all happening swiftly, but there are time clues in the movie, and more-so in the light novel.
Also, the movie starts in medias res with the 'commercial' for U featuring Belle singing U-Millennium Parade, followed by her waking up and then quietly freaking out over her avatar's new-found fame, followed by a cut to black and the movie title.
—The first time clue after the title is the sign in the bus saying that the bus route will end at the end of September. In this shot she's wearing the white shirt only.
—When Ruka-chan is performing in the concert, all the girls are wearing the grey sweater. The School Club whiteboard announces the band concert as [Today] with the red-marker starburst around it. Another club farther down the list gives an event date of 10/11.
—Next is the date on Suzu's phone when she stress-vomits. The date on the phone is 22 December. That night is when she signs up for U (remains of vomit are clearly visible on her cheeks as she reads the Welcome screen to U.)
—There is a time-passes montage, marked by the seasonal change in the school uniform (Winter jacket to white shirt.)
—Belle's follwership takes off on the afternoon of 14 June. She notices as she's finished changing from her P.E. uniform to her summer school uniform. The date is on the blackboard as she hastily leaves her classroom.
—Some time between 14 June and 10 July is the U-Millennium Parade 'concert' first seen at the opening of the film.
—Suzu signs up to use the community center room on 10 July.
—Hiro-chan's phone with the wallpaper of the math teacher she's crushing on shows the date of 12 July.
—The calendar app on Suzu's iPhone shows the day as the 28th when she discovers her class 'blowing up' over the rumour she asked Shinobu-kun out.
I could find no other time clues in the movie. There may be more in the light novel, but my reading is going slow — too many new words to look up, even with furigana...
So 6 months passed from the time she sang Gales of Song to her followership taking off. She did look more settled in the time-passes montage between those two big events, though.
