i don\\\'t really see any problems with putting dashboard under emo-pop, and i am a fan of them. i just used the term to describe the more poppy variant of emo that was also popularized. When i revamped this article i didn\\\'t mean for that to come across in a negative context at all. i\\\'d say that label does in fact apply to dashboard do to their very pop rooted sound. And as for \\\"macho bambast\\\" you used to describe fall out boy and panic, id say that\\\'s an ignorant description of them. in my opinion they are totally legit bands that jus take the emo style in more pop directions, lyrically they are as vulnerable as guys like texas is the reason or Sunny day real estate. So me adding dashboard to the emo-pop list wasn\\\'t ment to be a slight consdering im literally a fan of every band on all three of the lists cause to me there just different interpretations of the same emo blueprint. So on the emo-pop list dashboard will stay.
