You say you removed Sesshoumaru on the grounds that he avoids being hit and it was a plot device that gave him the natural ability to regenerate a strike to the heart. However, Naraku avoids being hit, too, and also relied on multiple plot devices to do it. When the two characters have been hit, they\'ve both been able to regenerate their wounds. Naraku\'s been more vulnerable to injury than Sesshoumaru, who will mostly NoSell an attack or tank injuries into not being life-threatening. Three times he\'s been in danger of life-threatening injuries, the first two he was protected by Tenseiga\'s magical barrier and the third time he gained the ability to regenerate his heart. Naraku is not so capable of tanking injury, hence the onstant quest for protection, and never gained the ability to regenerate his heart.

MadeOfDiamond and MadeOfAir don\'t apply to Naraku. His body is very vulnerable to injury until he gains legendary armour and he credits that armour several times for protecting him. He does flee from battle a couple of times by using miasma but the story doesn\'t say whether he turns into miasma or cloaks himself in it. Fans have debated that for years.

Naraku\'s regeneration is no different to many other characters until he hides his heart. Then it\'s made clear striking his heart will kill him, no matter where it is. At this time, his head is never destroyed so the issue of whether it can regrow never occurs. Fans can make up what they want on that front. In the story, his head always remains intact while his body is broken into pieces. To regenerate, those pieces all rejoin. Before he hid his heart he had to rely on barriers and only hid the heart because his enemies were getting better at smashing his barriers to injure him. When he took his heart back into his body, he used the legendary armour to protect him. The story also doesn\'t claim hiding the heart is exclusive to Naraku, and implies it\'s a common knowledge tactic among youkai which is why characters realise what Naraku\'s done. Even Kagura benefits in this way from having a missing heart.

Naraku is not MadeOfDiamond. His body is very vulnerable to injury until he gains legendary armour. He gives credit to the armour on several occasions for saving his life. As to MadeOfAir, he has, very rarely, used miasma to flee from battle. The story doesn\'t confirm whether he transforms into miasma or whether he cloaks himself in miasma to obscure his position. Fans have been making their own interpretation on that for years.

Regeneration: The manga\'s never raised the subject of regrowing a destroyed head where Naraku or Sesshoumaru are concerned. Fans can argue what they want about that. That puts Sesshoumaru and Naraku in the same boat since neither of them have had their heads destroyed. Naraku\'s body has been blown to pieces but his head has always remained intact and the broken pieces of the body have rejoined back together. That only ever happened while he was hiding his heart, however, and it was made clear that striking his heart would definitely kill him even then. Before then, he used barriers to avoid being hit or survived through extreme luck (something that applies to plenty of other characters in the story, too, such as Inuyasha).

Hiding the heart is not something the story claims is exclusive to Naraku, it\'s implied that powerful youkai can do this. Kagura even gets to take advantage of it. The reason he hid his heart was precisely because his body was so vulnerable. First, his tactic was to hide behind powerful barriers that deflected attacks, but once his enemies began getting strong enough to breach his barriers, he hid his heart. It was made clear that striking the heart would kill Naraku, which is why he went after armour that had a reputation for being unbreakable. Eventually, he takes back his heart, and uses the armour for protection.

There\'s a major reason why Naraku relies on more plot devices than Sesshoumaru. When Sesshoumaru is hit, he\'s simply so strong he\'ll either NoSell the attack or doesn\'t take life-threatening injuries. Of the three occasions when he did take life-threatening injuries, Tenseiga\'s magical barrier protected him twice and the third time he regenerated even his own heart. Now, while it\'s true Sesshoumaru didn\'t know he could do that until it happened, the trope doesn\'t claim someone has to know how nigh invulnerable they are. Naraku, on the other hand, cannot regenerate his heart and doesn\'t share Sesshoumaru\'s natural strength to tank blows. To gain what Sesshoumaru naturally possesses, Naraku had to use magical barriers, soul jars and legendary armour. Even then, he never overcame the issue that striking the heart kills, unlike Sesshoumaru, who did exactly that.

I\'m not arguing that Sesshoumaru should be readded to the page. I\'m simply saying that the reasoning used for removing Sesshoumaru from the page is equally applicable to Naraku. Sesshoumaru was removed on the grounds that he tries to avoid getting hit and some kind of plot device was created to give him the power to regenerate his heart when it was struck. However, Naraku spends the entire story trying to avoid getting hit and using plot device after plot device to do so, and never gains the ability to regenerate his heart. So your justification applies equally to both.

Overall, it\'s weird to see you say Sesshoumaru\'s not applicable because a weird plot device is used to give him the ability to regenerate his heart when Naraku uses plot device after plot device to protect himself from being killed and never gains the ability to regenerate his heart.
