The second part mentions homoeroticism which (it seems to me) pretty much no-one who wasn\'t gay and with an over-active imagination could possibly think up, and the power source being likened to drugs is very much UnfortunateImplications at best. [EDIT: hmm, OK, maybe not- the he allusions seem pretty intentional.] Given what the MCP was doing to the programs, it\'s probably more analogous to feeding them starvation rations of stale food and water of questionable purity, and gaining sudden access to an abundance of good stuff would probably produce the same reaction.
