Does this trope exist - language barrier?
I\'m a new to this wiki though I\'ve enjoyed wikiwalking here for some time.
But I\'ve been wondering about this trope: two foreigners meet and each of them only speaks their mother tongue, or they don\'t share a second language. They honestly try to communicate, at times very painfully, but can\'t understand each other because of this language barrier.
Is there a trope for this? I tried to identify this trope among the list of language tropes, but I can\'t see the right one. But it seems to me that this trope must exist. :-)
Maybe the name isn\'t very transparent? Or I wasn\'t very thorough.
