I previously commented on how this page seems to be a magnet for FanDumb and HateDumb rampages, where new users discover the page and bias every applicable example toward a favorite character/ship or interpretation of events (or against the ones they disagree with/dislike). I decided to add a warning at the top of the page about RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgment still applying here, and that if people just want to rant they need to take it to the Glee forum thread (and linked to it). I figured it was good to put something in there before Season 4 started, since this seems to happen most often right after episodes, especially those that affect one of the more popular ships (like the episode last season where Kurt was texting some boy who wasn\'t Blaine).

What do the rest of you think? Did I word the warning right? Do we really need the warning, or should we just patrol the page extra-carefully after each episode?

There really needs to be something about RuleOfCautiousEditingJudgment on this page. I\'ve seen so many edits that, more or less, consist of a fan/hater of a particular character/ship going on a rampage to make every mention of their chosen target as favorable or unfavorable as they want. Or stuff that is clearly added by fans of one character/ship just in order to incite fans of a competing one. I know this is the YMMV page of a show with a \'\'very\'\' BrokenBase, but even the YMMV page has standards about FlameWar bait. A lot of the edits being made here are more appropriate for the Glee discussion on the forums.

Agree with StrangledByTheRedString - people are allowed to disagree with it but this is YMMV, and a lot of people genuinely didn\\\'t interpret the \\\"breakup\\\" as a breakup. Plus, I\\\'m not at all sure what Mako and Korra like each other \\\'\\\'for\\\'\\\'. Maybe season 2 will do better with it.

So, proposal for the entry, feel free to steal (it was deleted as of this writing with a \\\"wait for it to be resolved in Discussion\\\" which is why I\\\'m here instead of adding it myself):

StrangledByTheRedString: Mako and Korra\\\'s promotion to OfficialCouple in the Book 1 finale. Rabid shipping asside, the LoveTriangle between them an Assami progresses from \\\"Korra trying to force her affections on Mako while he\\\'s dating Assami\\\" to \\\"Korra growing up and telling Mako to be with Assami when she needs him most\\\" to \\\"Oh, Mako has a thing for Korra after all and is suddenly being insensitive to Assami\\\". Also, the scene between Mako and Assami that probably signified their official breakup confused a lot of people because \\\"I\\\'m sorry for how I acted and whatever happens, I still care for you\\\" does not sound a lot like a clean breakup. Nor is it really ever made clear \\\'\\\'why\\\'\\\' they fell for each other beyond Korra\\\'s initial infatuation. Book 2 now has a chance to flesh things out, however.
