My mistake. I thought the nomination for deletion was to spur the discussion, not to come after it. The en masse deletion was done in the aforementioned \\\"BRD\\\" spirit, with the assumption it\\\'d be undone if it bothered anyone - which it did, and which it was, so, hey, I guess that works out.
