My arguments are based on the events of the series(from the novels, not only from the scenes from the manga), in fact the character himself admited he is not a good person a considers himself as a bastard, is not a \\\"saint\\\" but also isn\\\'t a \\\"complete monster\\\", is showed that the character still wants to redeem himself and thats why I was saying that both are already included in AlternateCharacterInterpretation and tropes like EvenEvilHasStandards, NeverHurtAnInnocent, NeutralEvil and EvenEvilHasLovedOnes can fit the description better.
