* The show has some blatant stereotypes by modern standards, including the almost complete absence of \\\'\\\'any\\\'\\\' black people (there are about 3 seconds worth of angry African natives in the end credits), but even so, the non-Caucasian characters were handled pretty well for its day, being shown as competent and speaking fluent English. Hadji for example was formally adopted into the Quest family, portrayed as Jonny\\\'s equal, and had tricks that amazed or confused the adults featured. Plus the art style helped avoid the pretty racist depictions you\\\'d see in earlier animation.
