!The \\\"future campaign\\\" pantheon
Following the event known only as \\\"The Cataclysm\\\", the world was plunged into chaos as the deities that controlled all aspects of existence [[spoiler:(except the god of time and a goddess of creation)]] had been completely obliterated. The land was torn asunder, the long-established civilizations of the mortal races descended into anarchy and barbarism (because the gods that governed darker and wilder emotions no longer existed to control them), and what remained of the universe came to the brink of destruction. However, in this time of upheaval, a new pantheon of deities rose to power, securing the uncontrolled divine energy and bringing the world back into balance. The remnants of the old civilizations reformed around the worship of this pantheon and life has begun to return to what it once was. If only the world could remember what \\\"it once was\\\" actually is...

Tropes associated with the pantheon as a whole:
* Divine Ranks: While the gods are on more-or-less equal footing (although The Guardian of Eternity and The Goddess Mother are technically at the top of the pantheon), their proxies all possess a divine spark but little to none of the power of a full-fledged god, and below those are other various divine servants (the Divine Light\\\'s devas, The Steel Falcon\\\'s Iron Maidens, etc.) who may only have a nominal level of power above that of normal mortals.
* Family Business: With a couple exceptions, all of the gods are related by blood or marriage (or both). See \\\"Relationships within the Pantheon\\\" for more.
* The Gods Must Be Lazy: \\\"Mortals dealing with mortals\\\" is the agreement the gods made shortly after the Cataclysm [[spoiler:(because they saw first-hand what happened when gods/immortals got too involved in the mortal world)]]. Unfortunately, two-thirds of the Fallen Lovers seek to get around this restriction at every turn, the other third never agreed to anything (that would be admitting she\\\'s equal to her negotiation partner, and her portfolio doesn\\\'t allow that), and the Covenant of Discord were never even part of the discussion...
* Gods Need Prayer Badly: Sort of. It was the gods\\\' powers that inspired faith in them, not the other way around. That being said, if the aggressive evangelism of the Fallen Lovers is any indication, the gods do get \\\'\\\'some\\\'\\\' sort of benefit out of their worshipers.
* Only Known By Their Divine Title: The gods (as well as two proxies who are the daughters of their respective gods) obscure their names for protection purposes. As such, their followers tend to guard that information closely (although it is unlikely any but the highest of priests know it, either) and deliver swift retribution to those who try to learn it.
* Physical God: The existence of Powers That Be that are higher than the gods themselves is a rumor that, if considered at all, is wild speculation at best and heresy at worst. [[spoiler:It\\\'s true, of course, but the \\\"Higher Powers\\\" are really more abstract embodiments of Character Alignment than anything else.]]
** God Job: Likewise, the rather mortal-like personalities of the gods would lead some to believe that the gods were once mortal. They would be wise to keep those beliefs to themselves... [[spoiler:even though -- or, perhaps, \\\'\\\'especially because\\\'\\\' -- they\\\'re right.]]
