TheGeneralissimo is the military dictator of a nation classified by the setting as \\\"third world\\\". Atlas doesn\\\'t qualify. TyrantTakesTheHelm and GloriousLeader depend on a specific plot line that never occurred in this show. TTTH involves a ReasonableAuthorityFigure being ousted and replaced by a tyrant who makes dramatic and terrible changes, forcing the characters to try and reinstate the previous leader. A GloriousLeader needs to be a political outsider who convinces the electorate to vote them into power to make things better, only to then reveal the awful truth. The only election plot we had involved Jacques being elected, and everyone knew that was a bad thing even before the vote.

GeneralRipper is a sub-trope of InsaneAdmiral. The general hates one individual so much they become obsessed with blaming/punishing/defeating them for everything. InsaneAdmiral is for a command characster who is unstable from the beginning. There\'s a difference between a character who is certifiable from the outset (such as Tyrian) and one who has a FatalFlaw and TraumaButton that is deliberately exploited as part of a BatmanGambit that triggers SanitySlippage. For similar reasons, TheCaligula doesn\'t apply either.
