second clip seems to fit the bill, it reminds me of a minor incident where someone (i forget who) made a really tame plumber joke and Japanese Twitter lost their collective minds. the person who made the joke had to apologize for a non-issue essentially.
regarding little witch nobeta: imo documenting every single instance of hololive\\\'s PersonaNonGrata status in China is probably going to end with TV Tropes inadvertently documenting a real person\\\'s death, because if you consider how people on Weibo act (read: they make 4chan look like the Salvation Army), that\\\'s probably literally what it\\\'s going to take for them to stop talking about it. either that or the editors who care about this issue are going to die of old age themselves. it\\\'s probably best to not waste too much energy on that topic.
