** Nerissa actively encourages fans to draw whatever they want, though said that anything "spicy" should have a separate hastag so that people who didn't want to see it could avoid it, and so that [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial she herself]] [[BlatantLies could block it.]]

** Mel's termination in mid-January 2024 would have repercussions for the then-upcoming 5th [=HoloFes=]. Unlike what happened when Rushia was fired, there was still enough time between the firing and Fes that meaningful changes could be made, meaning that no one, save for Haachama whose appearance was a complete surprise until Stage 2, was left without a collab set. For example, the [=HoloFes=] performance of ''Fansa'' during the [=HoneyWorks=] stage was able to undergo changes to both its lyrics split as well as dance choreography between its 4 remaining members as the time remaining was enough that a re-recording was possible.

** Shortly after the 5th [=HoloFes=] and Axel announcing the reveal of his second outfit (set for March 21, 2024), Altare would reveal on his on the post-Expo talk on the [=19th=] that [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtzOZZalppM&t=4121s he would not have an outfit of his own to reveal.]] While he had one in the works, he was not satisfied with as well as not proud of what would have been the final product, leading him to ultimately scrap the project entirely.

** For many, their first exposure to hololive is likely Fubuki's Website/{{Vine}}-like covers (called "Fubukiposting") in Website/FourChan and Hamburgaga's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaqLk1YCv-s remix]], or Iyger's translation of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqHs4VTb2FU Matsuri's band-aids story]]. Along with Miko's early viral moments, they are among the first clips to start the trend of both remixing and translating content that would eventually lead the hololive's big boom.

** Many hololive-related channels got temporarily demonetized between late 2019 and early 2020 for various reasons ranging from the expected (Choco's [[ASMRVideo ASMR streams]] being [[TooHotForTV too erotic for YouTube]]) to the puzzling ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtUWhsAzcRY "reused content"]]). Hololive's appeals, including the higher-ups at the main channel, fell on deaf ears, and it took the intervention of a totally unrelated English third party [[labelnote:*]][=TheQuartering=], whose help was half-unappreciated by [=VTuber=] fans due to his political leanings[[/labelnote]] and some [[https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/ewzefr/youtubes_tweet_after_restoring_monetization_to/ angry]] [[Website/{{Twitter}} tweets]] to get affected channels back on track.

** Same with Miko and her ELITE nickname. Website/FourChan kept calling her this in chat due to "being elite" (usually for not very elite things) being a meme on itself in the site at that point. She wasn't aware of this nor knew they were being sarcastic, so she rolled with it anyways, and the name stuck to her permanently.

** One of the first projects announced for Hololive Alternative was a Website/{{Twitter}} manga centered around Marine made by doujin artist Mizuryu Kei. However, the artist broke ties with hololive shortly after the announcement for nebulous reasons, which [[https://twitter.com/cover_corp/status/1371627292422643712 caused the manga to be scrapped a month later]].

** During the Tempus Website/{{Twitch}} Takeover weekend, Vesper was supposed to play ''VideoGame/XComEnemyUnknown'' for his 24-hour endurance stream. Unfortunately, Cover was unable to get the permissions on time, so Vesper decided to play ''VideoGame/{{Factorio}}'' instead.

** [=HoloIndie=] as a whole could be seen as an enforced version of this, as it is an initiative created by [=COVER=] Corp through which fan-made video games can be published and monetized, and they can even potentially receive assistance from the talents themselves (such as getting custom voice recordings to use).

Missed this one when I was going through the page a few months back.

*** On the evening of February 10, 2022, a (false) notion of Rushia dating music producer/utaite Music/{{Mafumafu}} sprouted from [[https://twitter.com/ohinagakoyomi/status/1491902097939333133 a stray Discord notification]] of a DM from Mafumafu that appeared on her stream during a ''[[VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV Grand Theft Auto Online]]'' collab between her and Miko Sakura, causing a perceived YokoOhNo from both fanbases. However, in defiance of the expected drama from such an incident, Rushia's own fans, including the super-invested ones, remained supportive and heard her out. Cover also issued [[https://cover-corp.com/news/detail/20220214b/ an official statement]] stating that they do not interfere with the talents' private lives and have been working against the misinformation this incident has invited.\\\
