Which browser? And is this specific to line-art style images, or does it affect photos?

This might be related to the Web P format that the new CDN prefers to serve when supported.

Sometimes images are downsized which causes them to look blurry as compared to their full-size counterpart in a separate window. Additionally, there is a bug with the image uploader which causes blurriness.

Any example?

So this is now occurring even when you open images in separate tabs. If you want an example: go to my avatar gallery and find the third image in the fourth row (on PC, at least). Does it look artifacted to you? And if so, does it still look artifacted if you open it in a separate tab.

BTW, browser is Firefox.
