Yeesh. I would send them a rudeness modifier if you haven't already.

Send rudeness notifier, but do not revert their deletions, especially the block about the "lack of representation". It seems to be a non-troversy (or even faux-controversy) whipped up for an unrelated reason: MiHoYo having to push back the release date on an upcoming free content update.

For the uninformed, lately there are people on Twitter stirring up a shitstorm out of thin air with the hashtag #boycottgenshin, citing misrepresentation, racism and bigotry, along with the usual security worries and release date changes. Those people then changed the the hashtag to #DoBetterMihoyo after the previous hashtag hardly picked any momentum and got instead mocked.

Edit: the statement is largely unrelated to the entry about Rosaria, but has more to do with trending accusations of the game apparently underepresenting races and mistreating indigenous people. As this is Twitter, you can already guess that it's a cesspool of pretend-cancel culture.

I think the entries are veering into drama importation at this point.

^ Please don't use "SJW" here. That's a very controversial buzz term.

Examples Are Not Arguable. This YMMV is not about whether a given troper finds the reaction "valid" or not, just that there was a reaction from several people that was documented on a reliable source like a news site, per the Unfortunate Implications page guidelines.

A reason to cut would be "techtimes is not a reliable news site", not "this was not the author's intent" (it's not a trope by the creator, it's an audience reaction of the audience) or "their reaction was not real" (we already require sourcing to show that the reaction is documented).

edit: Removing the "Despite the developers' claims of conforming with censorship guidelines," part to address iPhoenix26's issue would be good though. You could change "the overall lack of non-white heroic characters" to "the overall lack of equally dark skinned heroic characters to balance them out" too given the Liyue characters are indeed meant to be Chinese coded as opposed to the Mondstadt characters German coded appearances.

Why are we using bounding into comics as a source?

Their about reputable as breibart and make up so much stuff?

^ Best to bring up the issue with sources for Unfortunate Implications on Wiki Talk. This query is already resolved and rudeness notifiers have already been sent to iPhoenix26.
