If the "certain clothes" is a corset or girdle and this is played for laughs when they remove it, Of Corsets Funny. If it's played for drama, that they remove it and wince at the terrible pain, then Of Corset Hurts.
If basic physics aren't even in play, they could be wearing some kind of inverted Fat Suit. "Thin Suit"?
A character looks fit, maybe even thin when say, perhaps wearing certain clothes. But when they take it off they suddenly look like they gained tons of pounds and become, well, fat.
Could be explained by the character being magic or it could also just be plain Cartoon Physics.
