This site attempts not to be American-centric. It is English-centric, with translations operating from English to other languages, but it is not supposed to be American-centric. Idiomatic language that you are unfamiliar with can stay.

It seems fairly understandable from context, I see no confusion there. I'd vote to let it stand.
The Friends Headscratchers page has the phrase "chucking a tanty", which is apparently an Australianism for "having a temper tantrum." Is this term too out there for a predominately American-centric site? I wouldn't want to start an edit war by changing this one without permission.
