Part of Directionless Driver: In the first paragraph it notes that resources like maps and GPS navigators may make them worse(IE "The gps says this route cuts 45 minutes off the travel time!" *Alice cringes as they pass the third hand-painted "KeEp OuT" sign with a dead raccoon draped over it they've seen since Bob turned the car onto this dirt road.*)

I think that still might be worth a split — the difference between a person who refuses to ask for directions and a person who would ask directions but doesn't realize they're lost until it's too late. The latter could be combined with that dawning "This can't be right!" moment of realization as the GPS is telling them to drive through a store or take flight or plunge into the underworld for a few clicks. Or as they're midair, having jumped an impromptu ramp into a construction site.

One of The Newest Ones in the Book.
