I'm more interested in finding the second one, btw.
Oops, never mind, found it. World of Quest.
Keep going with the first one though.
For the first, perhaps Heathcliff? The only cartoon I remember of him involved him living in a junkyard with his friends, but the newspaper cartoon featured him as part of a family, so they might have made a cartoon of that.
Nope. One episode of the cartoon I'm thinking of involved the ubiquitous plot of "character must make cake, but has no time, so character puts cake in oven for half as long at twice the heat." I'm sure that's a trope itself, but i can't remember the name.
The trope is Oven Logic; I can't see anything on the trope page that looks like what you're looking for, though.
Ah, as in you looked up picture of Heathcliff and it doesn't match. Disappointing because apparently he did have a cartoon which followed the living in the household idea. Cheers.
Yeah, it's definitely not Heathcliff. It's newer than that, maybe 2007?
Could be the English dub version of "Billy the Cat". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGHFMT-j1ts
Again, sorry, but no. I actually JUST remembered the name of it. It wasn't an animation either. It was stop-motion, and it was called Rotten Ralph. I'm not even sure it WAS a cat, come to think of it.
That was actually a pretty nightmare-fuely style of animation.
I remember Rotten Ralph TOO! It was stop motion based on a book!
Edited by fifimcfeef Yeah, Jason Kreis ain't exactly a soccer star.
2 here. 1. A British (probably) children's cartoon, from the early-mid 00's, about a family and their cat. The show revolved around this cat's antics, which usually included the cat being naughty. I can't remember the cat's name, but I think he was orange, and no, it's not Garfield and Friends. Basically, think Horrid Henry meets Garfield.
2. A cartoon about a boy prince and his band of adventurers, which include his unwilling servant and protector, whose name may have been Quest, and this person's friend who was a cyborg, and I'm pretty sure was black. I think he could spit metal shards at things or something. Basically, these adventurers are trying to save their world from some evil, yada yada, i think they were looking for some atifacts of power like magic swords and stuff. I distinctly remember there being an episode involving talking rocks, and the aforementioned protector of this annoying little prince said "I hate X" at least once each episode, and he was voiced by Joe from Family Guy.
