How do I make videos appear on forum posts? Web Original

I want to share a video on a forum post, but all I can do is links. What's the secret trick that I'm missing?

the format is youtube:video ID (the thing after ?v=) in double square brackets. You used to be able to press the "show markup help" button to see this, but it still appears to be broken.
