Do you mean stop motion that wasn't strictly speaking claymation, or limited animation that looked like claymation?

She said it was just old and poorly animated to the point it reminded her of the way clayanimation moves

She remembers it was a cartoon her grandma would put on for her, we’ve been searching all sides of the internet and whoever sees this is our only hope G Onna add she grew up in Florida
So what she has remembered is The animation style was older looking, the movement of the cartoon was odd like a claymation movement (was not a clay animation) There was an old man who was short and he wore a hat He tried stealing/taking(it was an egg or crystal??) something from a girl child At some point the girl is in a building as the walls close in on her? I remember it was like an old abandoned stone building built hundreds of years ago. (Some shit you’d see in national treasure.) And they ran down the steps and someone dropped the item they were trying to steal. It may have been a jewel
If anyone has any idea or a guess please don’t hesitate
It isn’t The rescuers or Angels Egg
