Might be either "I Wanna Be a Cowboy" by Boys Don't Cry or "Wild, Wild West" by The Escape Club.
"Let's hear it for Nine Inch Nails! Woo, they're good!"

It's I Wanna Be A Cowboy! Thanks. Sounds so strange, just had to find it.
Sometime in spring 2016 when I would listen to the Sirius XM channel '80s on 8 I heard an intriguing song during regular rotation that I don't think I've heard or heard refrence to before or since. It had to have been a hit, but is probably a very forgotten, practically obscure one (pretty good amount of those on there.) It shows what years songs are from on there on screen, I know this was an early '80s year, probably 1982, but maybe not. I think it was new wave or something. Had something to do with cowboys, or maybe just the wild west. Male singer. I feel like it might have had a spoken part near the end, but not completely sure. Am so sure this was not Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo. I think the title directly refrenced cowboys or something, but could be wrong. Really hope this isn't hard to find. Thanks.
