Either use the Create New button at the top and select Awesome from the list, or simply edit the url and switch out the current page type (Charaters/Main/etc) for Awesome.
I tried the Create New Tab, but Awesome wasn't among the options. The only one starting with A is Analysis.
My understanding of it is that you go to the link where you want the awesome page (so instead of main/medianame you go to awesome/medianame) and then click edit (like theroguepenguin said). https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Administrivia/CreatingNewPages
in the notes here it says that you're always free to start a works page so I'm assuming an awesome page pretty much follows the same rules. Hope this works!
