Sort of, but this is for when the martial art in question is altered from its 'true' form into something more convenient for the screen. This isn't for complete violations of the art itself as much as it's an often conscious decision to make something more workable for audiences to follow.

Is there a trope for inefficient depictions of martial arts? I notice a lot of media likes to stick to flashy versions of more or less legitimate martial arts that wind up being inefficient, but I'm yet to come across a trope that exemplifies that in particular. Broadly speaking, it falls under Rule Of Cool, but so do other tropes and this is common enough to warrant its own trope. Especially considering that almost every film, anime and game partakes.
