I feel like it was prematurely disambiguated to cover the possibility the book gets a page.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I've seen quite a few creative takes on the disambiguation customs. (The Resident Evil (Remake) ones being my favorites for needlessly playing Russian Roulette.) Tidelands (Netflix) is certainly nothing new, though maybe indicative of a need for tighter and actually helpful instructions on how to disambiguate. Far as I've ever found info on it, disambiguation by year is recommended but not required.
I don't know what the policy on early disambiguation is, but I do think a lot of needless work can be (and should be) prevented by a disambiguation on upload. So I do like that Tidelands (Netflix) already did that.
I think the page should be moved to Series.Tidelands until it's actually necessary to disambiguate.

Is there any particular reason why Tidelands (Netflix) has such a bizarre disambiguation?
First of all, work disambiguation is usually done by year, sometimes by country... but not this.
Second of all, Tidelands might be a disambig, but the only other work with this title is one book in a series, and both are currently red links. So I don't see anything preventing the series to just be Tidelands (currently a redirect).
