The only new creators who may have trouble with CA are those who are expecting payment from them, or need to directly interact with Mike, Doug, or Rob. I assume a lot of them are already getting income from Patreon or some other steady job, and work waaaaay far away from the Chicago HQ, and those I assume shouldn't have reason to leave CA.

This is seriously depressing me. Kyle Kallgren is one of the smartest critics there and friendliest to his fellow reviewers. His videos were the reason I bookmarked the site. I thus expect he got kicked off because he protested their treatment by CA.

Honestly, I think he may have left on his own.

Wondering if this is gonna cascade into more departures. Kyle is pretty close with Bennett who also has his own website and Patreon by this point.

Kyle is also going through some deep depression problems so I hope he's okay

Yeah is it me, or has the site's server been going WONKY right now?? Just 10 minutes ago, it took 1 minute just to load!

Gentlemen, are we indeed witnessing the Fall of a company as it is hap-pen-ing? Or are we exaggerating things as largely as Critic does in the Matrix review??

Its a shame seeing this happen. It also makes the "Critics are a family" theme pushed by To Boldly Flee seem like a massive case of denial.

The internet reviewer is dying under the hands of the government - no, reviewers will always find a way to give viewers their videos, even if it's under another site, or their own.

The Critic is gone - no, he returned 3.5 months later.

We're a family - no we're not. We're guests paying out of our own pocket for travel, lodging and food to serve one guy's long-ass movie we're not getting paid off of!

Meh, can just be an influx of people coming to see who is gone or to post on their forums about the events. Or some joker script kiddie doing a DDOS attack as payback.

They just changed the site so it going down during a major event isn't exactly surprising.

On the side: Sort of amused by Lupa's post that they've now shot the game show 17 times with the same guests and questions. Seriously, how long does it take to release a gameshow lol.

The reviewing community is a fmily. It's just now, and for awhile back actually, it hasn't really mattered who's on what site. I've been to cons; they're pretty much all friends regardless of who's on what site.
