Might I join this Discord group? I've been busier than I expected lately with driver's ed and the like, so I haven't had a lot of time to RP and I want to catch up.

Or you can just tell me what I missed in here.

OK, while I'm here, might as well roll up my new char to start fresh.

• Name: Trunks◊
• Gender: Male
• Race: Mixed human-Saiyan
• Occupation: Time Patrol officer in training
• Age: 23
• Weaponry/Gear: Wields a sword.
• Powers and Abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes and endurance; is capable of becoming a Super Saiyan, greatly augmenting these powers. Can manipulate the chi in his body to fly for indefinite amounts of time.
• Skills: Accomplished hand-to-hand combatant and swordsman.
• Personality: Is earnest and always tries to do the right thing. Despite having experienced great losses in his life (such as that of his mentor and older brother figure, Son Gohan), he feels at peace with himself knowing he helped ensure a better future in more ways than one. Although straight-laced, he is not overly serious, and is able to enjoy good company. Polite and composed around strangers.
• Notes: This version is based off the end of the Cell arc in DBZ, wherein Trunks returns to his timeline and manages to destroy the Androids and Cell.

I just need some info on what's currently going on. Like, is the method of joining the group the same as before?

Oh my god this is going to be wild.

Recent events in pokemon kinda wants me to do an arc called "attack of the killer sandcastles" at some point

Due to a culmintation of issues, foiks is surendering control of the RP and as such we are holding plot polls.

The sugestion bin will lock on friday, voting will happen over the weekend, and the winner will be anounced on monday.

To start things off I got two sugestions.

1. A netherworld, any netherworld, they always turn into really fun plots.
2. ANFSCD, we missed WAOA's birthday this year, which is the trational start date of the anual tradition but we can still start one late.

We didn't miss WAOA's birthday. It's in three days, September 15th.

Shit, okay.

No polls then, were doing the anual tradition, instead lets discuss the theme.

I think we should do children agian, it has been 4 years since we did that one which was honestly one of the best ones, next to G3.

In those 4 years the cast have cycled compleatly, and we have the WAOAA group wraped in.

The only problem is we only really have one couple any more, but we might be able to work around this some how.

Two suggestions.

A: My initial ANFSCD idea I suggested several weeks ago already: Playing as Pets, Pokemon, Mascots and Familiars belonging to our usual chars. Or just completely new ones not (yet) belonging to anyone. :P

B: Instead of "Future Children", just de-age everyone. We did that before and it was fun for a few days, just what we need.

A) So just play Dogmeat in my case?

B) Explain what you mean by De-age? Are memories kept?

I honestly don't think the de-age could be fun agian.

It was kind of played out imensly, in addition a lot of the charecters now have less fun de-aging mixed with the fact that this doens't let us wrap up the current plot in the background.

As for the familars/pets, only your charecters have them Chuck, no one else really does any more.

how young would the children be? or how young would the characters be deaged?

I guess that's a fair point, but I am seeing people voicing interest in the de-aging idea at least. And like you said, the cast is entirely recycled.

The problem is even with the cast being entierly recycled, there is only so much fun stuff you can do with kids, and we played it out last time.

Plus, agian it doesn't let us quietly fold up the current plot in the background, nor does it even qualify for an ANFSCD.

Well for the kids, Rai had the idea of just making random pairings that are as crack-ish as possible.

Considering there are several kids from the last time we did that who sometimes still run around, why not include the option to play those as (in name) mature adults for sake of variety?

Well, if we did the "Our Charecters Children" I was thinking late teens like last time.

The fact that so many of them still haunt this RP I think alone is a testimant to the validity of this idea.

& I honestly want to see what random crack pairings you could come up with

Also while these have been being discussed, I got a couple more ideas, but I will wait until I get home to share them.

Okay, fuckit drive by of ideas.

1. ) We combine the decendands crackship idea, with new charecters, and deaged ones as well, but with a new theme, Highschool AU, we keep talking about rebooting that damn thing any way, besides gods and superrobots in highshool, what could go wrong?
   Only rule here would be no playing decendants of de-aged charecters, some since would be nice in this theme.
2. ) We play another convention meetup, but this time one of anime charecters, not in "you need to play a charecter from a real anime" OC are fine, but all the charecters will come from anime and run on anime logic allowing for DBZ style schenanigans.
3. ) Simlarly, we combine the pevious idea with a narrower focus and the netherworld idea, and do a netherworld arc where we play as the deamons of that netherworld for once, 4th wall? What 4th wall

I like idea one and two, but idea three is kinda un-fun if you don't into Disgaea.

Grail War, WAOA style.

Only they really fucked up the ritual and more than half the people involved aren't Servants. Or Heroes. Or Magi. Or Nasu.
