Shiny, that is not a person, it is a mutant. ._.;
I'd say it's a Monster.

Mrs. Sir Grit Steelhammer the II Ird is a respectable lady....
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."...you know what, I've been doing some thinking over the past few days. I might rejoin you guys in the Monster Hunter world, when it's around that time. That said, my playtime will be sporadic due to work, but I'll have a bit more time on the weekends since I get off early anyway.
Bad news, Rika. I came back from the dead, so we won't be going there for a little while.
We might go there next if nobody's got any ideas, though.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Hello? I found this while browsing around and got interested.
「The nightmare of the revenge monkey begins」Hi-oh, new friend! Welcome to We Are Our Avatars!
Coupla things to go over before you jump in;
- Who, exactly, are you going to be playing as here? Got a picture? What's their personality like? WAOA is primarily based on interaction between characters - which isn't to say plot and combat never happen, but neither are the main focus.
- WAOA can get very fast when it's active and running, compared to other roleplays. Personally, I'd recommend adding this to your Thread Watchlist, or refreshing the thread often.
Ok, thank you for the information :). This is actually my first try at roleplay. I thought about roleplaying Vel'Koz (the guy in my pic) from League of Legends. He's a lifeform from a different dimension that seeks to gather as much knowledge as he can. The thing is that he gets information about objects by disintegrating them, and due to his alien origins he has blue and orange morality.
「The nightmare of the revenge monkey begins」That kind of character might not be the best idea for a first try, to be honest, you might wanna stick to a character with a more normal sense of morality at first. Gotta learn to walk before learning to run, yannow? Or something, I dunno, I'm shit at giving life lessons anyways
Mind explaining the morality first?
I dont exactly want to say no, but has a point.
His morality is wonky to human eyes since all he cares about is knowledge. Chaotic neutral might fit the description. He snaps your arm in two not to bring you pain, but only to examine it's insides. (also he might be to complicated as you say, checking other alternatives, it's just that i like charachters that doesn't really have normal morals).
「The nightmare of the revenge monkey begins」Right.
Ummmm, random destruction has not really been encouraged for a few years.
Not exactly because we want to discourage creativity or any thing, but because.... errrr.
This is hard to explain. >.<
Random destruction, for whatever reason, generally tends to unite everyone against you.
This in mind, I'm not against a blue-and-orange character... if you know of any others who aren't so violent about it, I don't see any issues.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I do have another, although he's not really "random destruction" he's still kinda wonky. Tahm Kench is a fishmonster/demon that really likes to eat. To eat even more he tries to make deals with people in times of need, so that he can eat whatever they accumulate after he has helped them. (He is definently no saint, but not in Vel'Koz "destroy everything" way, he tries to be refined, and his final goal is always food). (also since im really new i really appreciates all tips).
「The nightmare of the revenge monkey begins」That seems to work a bit better yes. :)
crazy steve finds the win button
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Oh, hello there Ravelordnito, welcome to the forum and our thread
Anyways, to business.
I don't really know a thing about League of Legends or Tahm Kench, but I don't see a glutton having any problems fitting in to this game at all. I can approve of him, at least.
As for tips, well,
1) If you feel lost, confused, or need someone to help you, you're always free to send a private message to a player or post a query in this thread. We might not get to you right away from lack of interest, but we'll definitely answer your question.
2) Try and read through the Markup Help and Extended Markup help to get a good idea of the format this website uses. I know, I know, common sense, but this site's formatting is markedly different from all the other ones I've visited, so it helps a lot.
3) If you want to correct say a spelling mistake or want to amend any post, just hit that edit button, the one that looks like a pencil.
4) If you have a cool idea for a plot or an event you'd like to do or suggest, put it up here in the discussion thread. We're having a bit of a lull time right now, so we're definitely open to suggestions.
Anything else?

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)He's a lot less randomly destructively violent, and that's the only major hangup I've had.
Seems good.
You don't need to do anything special unless you want to to introduce him. Just, again, try to avoid mass collateral damage.
We are currently on Tuchanka. For those not familiar with Mass Effect, go play it you skrub Tuchanka is a planet undergoing the effects of a nuclear winter after the local apex predators - the krogan - industrialized and nuked each other. Basically all the wildlife wants to kill you, temperatures are uncomfortably hot (by human standards), and the environment is a barren wasteland littered with blocky ruins of krogan structures.
Well, at least three or four of the characters are on a different world on a rescue mission, but yeah. Currently the setting is Tuchunka.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)na na na na bat tank na na na na bat tank....
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."I don't know why people object to the Battank soo much.
It is tones of fun.
Thank you for the help . I would be interested in joining the adventure as soon as possible, but since my character is oftenmost found near water, Tuchunka (with the desert thing and that) might not be the best place for me to jump in (also gotta watch out for those thresher maws!).
「The nightmare of the revenge monkey begins」@Imca Me either, to be honest. I mean, it only makes sense that he'd have one of them.
And it looks fun.
@Ravelordnito That is a fairly good point, man.
Well, even if you don't feel like it's a good point to jump in, do feel free to hang around the discussion and ask questions about anything in the meantime. Always happy to have another prospective player.

Eh, you'll be fine. It'll take just as long to get through as it would if you chose something else... Maybe.
And it's so easy when you're evil... This is the life for me, the Devil tips his hat to me...
