I have. Framerate dips are invariably accompanied by massive amounts of glitches. If you can keep it up it's alright though.

Sounds like the problem is the computer one plays it on, and not the game itself. I thought that was the case, but I wasn't sure until now.

Yes, the problem will be the computer.

It's both actually, the computer for making is run worse, and the game for going through walls and exploding randomly when it does so instead of just going slower.

Guys, guys!

So recently I finally connected to Xbox Live and spent some Microsoft Points (so overpriced...) and bought Super Meat Boy.

Anyway, just today I beat The Kid's warpzone. You know, the one that TV Tropes says that you are better than the majority of SMB players for beating it?*

Sequel time!

They've apparently taken a few cues from auto-run platformers. The widdle baby though, aww.

Also this is interesting: "Levels are dynamically constructed based on difficulty; each time you beat a level, it reconstructs into a harder version of itself (up to a point...we aren't gods)."

They didn't show bandage girl being playable even though the intro of the trailer implied she was gonna kick ass together with Meat Boy.

Call me shallow, but I liked the part where the villain reaches for the baby, but misses the first time.

^But Bandage Girl was shown as playable in that trailer .-.

I only saw the guy! Or did I watch something else (the Nindies version) by accident?

That wasn't the same trailer? :(

Oh ok, sorry, forgot to say I couldn't see that one right now due to being at work.

Oh, ok, that explains my confusion then [lol] But yeah, I guess they were different trailers then since that one definitely shows bandage girl as playable

Been trying to beat this game lately, I'm currently at Cotton Alley. And while I can deal with the most vicious traps, I cannot for the life of me beat the Hopscotch level − mainly because I can't figure out how those goddamn… lightwheel… things work. In the other levels you're in control of all your movements, but in this one you're not; it feels like it half-depends on pure luck, and I hate it. =____=

Also, the last level of this world is incredibly deceptive. Individually the traps seem easy to avoid, and they are. But it just never fucking ends and I always screw up at one point or another. evil grin

But anyway, this game really is a ton of fun. It helps that the controls are much tighter than in the Flash original, and the level designs better thought out too. Besides, it has the cutest bosses ever. [lol]

And I like how they make you dread Cotton Alley from the start. Pink background? Cute music? You play Bandage Girl? …Yeah, this is gonna be brutal, isn't it.

So yeah, now I've beaten all the "normal" levels, as well as the Dark World of the first world…

But now I'm diving into "Super Meat World", starting with The Kid. And ooooh boy, the trauma… evil grin For now I'm not even trying, it's just fucking impossible.

So what are your thoughts on the SMB Forever trailer?

This looks a LOT like Rayman Origins/Legends, except running is apparently automatic… Which I don't quite get. It seems like a pointless change to me.

With 100% completion in mind, I'm currently challenging the Dark World of Cotton Alley. And 7-15x is FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE. How am I supposed to survive all those frag bombs for a full minute?? I know there's a trick to stop the mouths from attacking you, but just getting to that safe spot is nigh impossible…

Team Meat is ALMOST done with Super Meat Boy Forever, but they're not there yet.

(Also, "Evil Asshat corporation." A shameless "eff you" to you-know-who?)

Well, this is an unexpected necro bump!

Dr. Eggman: Ha ha ha! It's been 30 years and I'm still the only video game villain with a dedicated puzzle game to himself!

Dr. Fetus: Not anymore, you're not!

In what almost seems like a very early April Fools' Day gag, Team Meat have unveiled Dr. Fetus' Mean Meat Machine!
