Well that SCP isn't really god. SCP-001 (depending on which one you take) is god. Omnipotent means you can do *literally anything* without limit. You can make a 4 sided triangle without issue. SCP-682 would literally just be willed out of existence before the beginning of time. Also, the previous posts aren't SCP canon. Superman and Goku would have no issue killing considering they casually destroy planets, and incinerating SCP-682 down to complete nothingness would not be an issue for them

No. He is. What ever gave you the idea that he wasn't? Maybe he can see 682, but doesn't want to kill him for some unknown reason. How do you know that SCP-682 won't adapt to all of Superman's or Goku's attempt to kill him? (Though I assume they could very easily render his defunct.)

He was very obviously not able to kill 682, even stating that 682 was not one of his creations. Heck, he even got pissed at the Foundation for putting him there. SCP-343 is pretty powerful, but he isn't omnipotent. The Beyonder could beat him.

He got pissed because they tried to make him kill him for the second time, not the first. Like I said, how do we know he isn't lying?

He just doesn't seem like the kinda guy to lie. He doesn't need to. He could tell them *exactly* why he won't kill 682 and then just make it to where the didn't care. Also, the fact that he didn't know they were sending him to 682 at least shows that he's not omniscient.

Second: he could just, y'know, not tell them and make it so that they don't care, instead of telling the truth. What if somebody was away while he did the whole make-people-not-care thing?

It really wouldn't matter because he'd just be omnipotent. He could rewrite all of reality to make everything have never cared and it wouldn't take any effort at all. He wouldn't even need to think about it, it would just happen

Alright, but to make everybody not care, he'd have to put everybody in a situation where they could care, which would mean that knowledge of SCP-682 would be completely worldwide, and the SCP Foundation is going to care about that.

Alright well then just change the conditions to everyone who has been, is, and will be in the Foundation will not care. The condition itself does not matter, the point is that an omnipotent being doesn't need a plan, it could just make the goal happen. 343 has no reason to lie because that would imply it has a goal which requires it to lie.

Bottom line: If we kill it, the game cannot continue.

Yep. Will be? That includes little kids who haven't learned about the foundation and will never join until they're like, at least twenty, which gives them a pretty large window to post info about the SCP-Foundation online.

(Unless we "accidentally" clone him.

The point isn't *how* he'd get out of lying, it's just that he'd never need to if he was omnipotent because everything would already be suited to his wants. I was just showing that he isn't omnipotent, just a very powerful reality warper who happens to not be able to affect 682.

Regardless, shouldn't we get back to the game?

Result: Failed due to a huge argument taking place.

Test: Expose it to aforementioned huge argument, and annoy him to death.

Result: Failure. It ate the arguers.

Test: Play Justin Beiber music loudly next to it.

Result: It's ears bleed before going deaf. That's it really...

Test: Stick him in a mall with Chuck Norris and watch the body count rise.

Result: Chuck Norris is an old, possibly senile man who can't fight two people with small knives. Results were predictable.

Test: Put SCP-682 next to an alternate SCP-682 that was designed to look, smell, feel, sound, and taste like a human. Not only that but it kept all of its abilities and was brainwashed to believe it was human. Just claim that its another SCP, unrelated to 682.

Results: the 'human' was ripped apart but regenerated. Said 'human' left the door open and when it shook off the brainwashing it proceeded to escape and eat REDACTED. REDACTED and General REDACTED finally managed to stick them into a single containment unit at REDACTED Research Facility.

Test: Feed the creature a Bag of Holding hidden inside a rat.

Result: Failure. Approximately █ minutes after the bag containing SCP-682 was ingested by the rat, the subject began convulsing followed by [DATA EXPUNGED] ██ casualties in SCP-682's ensuing rampage.

Test: Send in the Riders. All of them. Yes, even Asakura.

Result: XK. Time travel and SC Ps used to fix universe.

Test: Drop it out of Near-Earth orbit, while firing a GDI Ion Cannon at it, attacking it with 10 Infinity Jaegers, plus 50 Mark-5 Jaegers thrown in for good measure, and sic the Grand Army of the Republic on it, while throwing it into a Project Silent Sparrow portal with an unstable magnetic containment field.

Note from Kain Pathos Crow: Fire 10 GDI Ion Cannons, drop it out of another universe, and have all the factions from all the Command and Conquer games attack it using all the units they ever had. If this doesn’t work, multiply everything we just said by 10, then do it again. Be ready to Uncreate the thing if this fails, too.
